We’re Angelica and John Garcia, your hosts in beautiful Jaco, Costa Rica. John is a computer programmer with a love for the ocean — you’ll often find him fishing, boating, scuba diving, or exploring new places. Together, we enjoy traveling the world, from Australia to Vietnam, and sharing our adventures with others.
Our passions are fun, clean oceans, and creating unforgettable experiences for our guests. We share our home with our loyal pets, Dakota and Golden, and we’ve built Jaco Retreat as a place where travelers can feel both adventurous and at home.
We speak English and Spanish and are always nearby if you need tips, local recommendations, or just a friendly chat. Whether you’re here to surf, dive, hike, or simply relax — we want to make your stay smooth, fun, and memorable.

Guests have access to the parking space provided and the swimming pool (open daily from 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM).
